Brian Bissaker
Brian has over 20 years of experience working in funds management. Brian is a former CEO of Colonial First State and an Executive Vice President of BT Funds Management. He also has wider senior financial services experience as a former CEO of Virgin Money and as a director of Citibank and MetLife Insurance.

David Mackaway
As the Group COO at Challenger, David built the investment administration capability of Challenger over the last 15 years. David has worked in the industry for over 25 years and prior to joining Challenger was an Executive Director of MMC Asset Management Limited, the Global Head of Operations for Principal Global Investors based in the US and worked in Australia for BT Funds Management in various operational roles.

Brad Massey
Brad worked at Colonial First State for 27 years prior to joining Artega in October 2022. He spent 13 years as the General Manager running and overseeing the Investment Administration capability for both CFS and the wider CBA Wealth Management business. His primary responsibility included the FirstChoice Platform which grew from $200 million in 2002 to $110 billion in 2022 with 85 external asset managers. He has sponsored several large and complex technology implementations through this period.

Ross Gulliford
Ross has worked in the industry for over 30 years and has run the investment operations function at Challenger since 2008. Prior to joining Challenger, Ross was Head of Custody and Investment Administration at BNP Paribas and also held various roles at J.P. Morgan, including Treasury Operations, Trade Management and Sub Custody. He was also responsible for the set up of J.P. Morgan’s Securities Lending operations in Australia.

Greg Burns
Greg has over 20 years’ experience in senior technology management roles, including recently as interim CTO of Challenger Group. Greg has worked in a broad range of roles across the finance industry, with a particular focus on the funds management industry, including roles at Challenger, Macquarie Group, BlackRock and Barclays Global Investors in Sydney, London and San Francisco.
